KVA Engineering offers the following engineered solutions to meet your process equipment and air quality needs.
KVA Engineering can provide your company with the latest technology in dust collection. We are the regional distributor for (AAF) American Air Filter (www.aafintl.com) clean air products and systems, and also partner with MicroAir (www.microaironline.com) clean air products.
We can supply portable and large stationary filters from 150 CFM to 100,000 CFM. We can come in and design an economically priced system tailored for your specific operation’s needs. KVA Engineering can provide our own Super-Pulse filter up to 20,000 CFM. We have the widest range possible on the market to assist your company in determining your exact dust collection needs.
KVA Engineering offers contamination control booths “CCBs” and air-wall filter modules. With either system, we can custom tailor a complete booth for a particular need or mount the air-walls in your existing booth. This system offers compact design, easy installation, no ductwork required, low horsepower consumption and high efficiency cartridge design.
Cartridge collectors utilize multiple cartridges made of pleated media in a cylindrical configuration to remove dust.
OptiFlo Cartridge Collector System
The OptiFlo cartridge collector system is a completely modular design that allows an unlimited range of sizes. The compact modules help conserve valuable space, and can be interconnected to accommodate the largest air cleaning task.
OptiFlo units have the lowest flange-to-flange pressure drop, allowing up to 10% greater airflow with lower fan horsepower than competitive models. The OptiFlo's aerodynamic design permits free-fall of dislodged particulate into the hopper without direct impingement of contaminant on the cartridges, minimizing abrasion and dust build-up.
A wide selection of cartridge types, options, and accessories enable the collector to be tailored to specific application requirements. Choose from top or front inlet and side or bottom outlet arrangements.
OptiFlo Dust Catcher
Meet tomorrow’s tougher ambient air quality standards today with the latest industrial filtration system from AAF International, the OptiFlo DustCatcher. Everything you need to improve industrial air quality has been built into this powerful, compact dust and fume collector. The DustCatcher arrives at your plant fully wired and ready to go to work providing a healthier and safer environment for your people as well as clean air for your processes.
Designed to control dust and fume from a single source or system, the high performing DustCatcher picks up even sub-micron particulate allowing the cleaned plant air to be recirculated to reduce exhaust and energy costs.
Available in three sizes for small to medium volume dust problems, the DustCatcher contains an enclosed fan with built-in silencer, self-cleaning cartridge filters, wired control panel, and a quick connect dust disposal pail. With four air inlet openings to choose from, the DustCatcher will fit in tight spaces most anywhere in your plant.
Bag collectors remove particulate matter from the air stream via filtration through special fabric materials.
The AAF ArrestAll shaker collector is an inexpensive solution for small and medium intermittent air pollution problems. This fully self contained dust collector provides high efficiency air cleaning on intermittent dry dust collection applications such as those found in grinding and woodworking operations. It is economical to operate, easy to maintain, and requires minimum floor space.
The AAF Millennium fabric dust collector is a heavy duty baghouse designed to meet the ever increasing demands for higher quality air. The Millennium baghouses provide high efficiency air cleaning on the most difficult dry dust collection applications. Intended for outdoor use, it provides the most cost effective way of cleaning heavy dust concentrations from large exhaust air volumes.
The AAF Design M FabriPulse is a unique, front access baghouse that lends itself to in-plant use for cleaning up even the most difficult air pollution problems. The Design M FabriPulse provides high efficiency air cleaning for applications that require low headroom and compact filter sizes. Filter change-out is quick and easy with the unique filter bag assembly in lengths of four or six feet.
Mist Collectors remove oil mist released into a manufacturing plant's atmosphere.
DynaPure
The DynaPure is a self-contained centrifugal collector for source capture of oil mist generated by machining operations. DynaPure collectors can handle continuous operation without the need to shut down for drainage. The compact units feature lower maintenance and easy installation on or adjacent to the machine generating the mist.
A backward inclined aluminum fan provides steep fan curve for optimum performance at minimum noise levels. Mist-laden air is drawn into the DynaPure where a rotating drum collects and agglomerates mist particles from the airstream by centrifugal force. The collected oil drains from the DynaPure unit and may be returned directly to the machine or collected for disposal. A built-in stack discharge returns clean air to the plant atmosphere.
Prefilter and final filter options are ideal for difficult combinations of mist and submicron smoke. These can be factory-installed or retrofitted in the field. Explosion-proof DynaPure models are also available, plus optional voltages, including 50 Hz.
Wet dust collectors are designed to remove particulate matter from the air by passing them through a liquid medium.
Type W RotoClone
The Type W RotoClone is designed to combine the scrubbing effect of water with the principle of dynamic precipitation. It is a highly effective wet-type collector which discharges collected materials in slurry form. The Type W collector operates continuously at 98+% efficiency with minimum water requirements (only 1/2 to 1 gallon per 1,000 CFM of air).
The Type W is capable of handling hot, moist gas streams and sticky dusts, which makes it effective in applications such as chemical processing, mining, coal processing, food and pharmaceutical dust capture. Two optional outlets are available for vertical discharge: a 90-degree outlet elbow for immediate redirection, and a centrifugal outlet for re-circulation or corrosive mists.
Type N RotoClone
The Type N RotoClone is the best solution to a wide variety of dust collection needs. It combines high efficiency, low maintenance costs, low water usage, and flexibility in one rugged, well proven piece of equipment.
The Type N cleans the air by the combined action of centrifugal force and a thorough intermixing of water and dust-laden air. Our unique airfoil design impeller provides the complete scrubbing necessary to precipitate fine particles. Designed to maximize the cleaning effect of the energy used, the Type N can be selected to operate at specific efficiency levels for individual project requirements. The pressure drop can be varied from 5.3" to 11.7" w.g.
The Type N RotoClone is assembled of heavy gauge hot rolled steel. For highly corrosive conditions, the Type N can be fabricated of stainless steel or lined with coal-tar epoxy. The unit is available in three sludge disposal arrangements, with three water level control options to tailor to your needs.
Type LVN RotoClone
The Type LVN RotoClone is a hydrostatic precipitator with an integral fan. It cleans the air by the combined action of centrifugal force and a violent intermixing of water and dust laden air. Type LVN is specifically designed for the ventilation and pollution control of dust emitting machines that require air volumes under 2,000 CFM. The collector can be close coupled to the dust sources or remotely located with connecting ductwork.
The Model LVN is a completely self-contained device, including fan, motor, and water level controls. When coupled with its optional downdraft bench, it provides an industrial worktable that is suitable for explosive metal (Al, Ti, Mg) grinding and polishing. The capture and dust removal features of the Model LVN allow recirculation of in-plant air to promote energy conservation and a clean working environment.
The 1,000 CFM model measures 42-3/4" x 35-1/2" x 83-3/4". The 2,000 CFM model measures 53-1/2" x 43-1/2" x 93-3/4".
